An everyday Italian family dinner: Spring edition

  • April 26, 2017
    17:30 - 19:00

Location

Venue:

We all know that the real artists behind Italian cuisine are le Mamme. We love the atmosphere of a typical Italian home, signed by perfumes of sugo al pomodoro, lasagna al forno or pasta al tonno.

This class is dedicated to everyday Italian cooking. Learn how perfectly to combine taste, simplicity and a tight schedule in an Italian way.

Come to La Scuola di Eataly to learn how to prepare an authentic Italian family dinner, while sipping a glass of wine!

Come and join us!

Enjoy an evening of Italian culture, cooking hints, amazing food and wine.

In this semi-hands on class, you will:
• Explore the tradition of Italian everyday cooking

• Assist to a frontal lecture by our resident chef doing a step-by-step demonstration of three dishes

• Take part in some of the preparations for the dishes

• Enjoy the prepared dishes paired with vini da tavola (house wines)

• Take home menus, adapted recipes and wine tasting notes

Since we will be cooking in Eataly’s “home kitchen”, we ask you to bring your personal apron from home, in order to be ready to participate in the cooking activities.
Class duration may vary by 10-15 minutes. Seating is first-come first served.

TEACHER

Sara Marzialetti originally comes from Marche and now lives in Copenhagen with her Danish–Italian family. It is not the professional background as cook, but a love for cooking and exploring new flavours and culinary traditions that brings Sara to Eataly as a teacher. Living away from her homeland, has brought her to an even deeper appreciation of Italy’s great variety of local food and products. This is her main drive when teaching, together with communicating the gesture of cooking for others as an honour and pleasure.
