At La Scuola, we believe that Sundays are all about family. We also think that you are never too young or too old to learn and give expression to your creativity, especially in the kitchen! For this very special class, we are inviting all the family (parents-kids-grandparents- aunts-uncles) to our classroom. Together you will create a Sunday menu based on traditional Italian recipes and using seasonal ingredients .
In this class, families will:
• Learn about the Italian Sunday lunch tradition
• Create their own primo piatto (could be pasta, pizza, lasagne) with the La Scuola chef
• Practice the preparation of the garnish for the primo piatto with the La Scuola chef
• Learn to prepare a traditional Italian desserts with the La Scuola chef
•Enjoy a three course meal paired with Italian soft drinks for the younger guests and a glass of wine for the more mature once.
• Take home recipes and instructions to recreate the prepare dishes at home
Since we will be cooking in Eataly’s “home kitchen”, we ask you to bring your personal apron from home, in order to be ready to participate in the cooking activities.
Class duration may vary by 10-15 minutes.
The class is held in English and Danish.
Sara Marzialetti originally comes from Marche and now lives in Copenhagen with her Danish–Italian family. It is not the professional background as cook, but a love for cooking and exploring new flavours and culinary traditions that brings Sara to Eataly as a teacher. Living away from her homeland, has brought her to an even deeper appreciation of Italy’s great variety of local food and products. This is her main drive when teaching, together with communicating the gesture of cooking for others as an honour and pleasure.
